Jeongje
Steady, earned wealth — diligence and practicality
Jeongje (正財, Direct Wealth) is the Ten God where the Day Master controls an element of opposite polarity. It symbolizes stable, earned wealth, frugality, and practicality. Represents the spouse in men's charts.
Jeongje appears when the Day Master controls an element with opposite Yin/Yang. For Jia (Yang Wood) Day Masters, Yin Earth (Ji, 己) is Jeongje. 'Direct' (正) reflects stable, predictable wealth earned through consistent effort.
Strong Jeongje individuals are diligent, detail-oriented, and excellent money managers. They prefer steady, predictable income (salary, rental income) over speculation. Natural savers with practical, realistic thinking. Excess can manifest as miserliness or resistance to change.
In men's charts, Jeongje represents the spouse (wife). Also associated with the father figure. Career paths in accounting, finance, real estate, and government align well.
