1. Information We Collect

We try not to permanently store the input data required for free analysis. However, when paid services, login, PDF export, or payment verification are involved, the following information may be processed.

  • Analysis Input Data (Normally Not Stored): Nickname, birth date, birth time, gender, birthplace, and similar information are processed temporarily to calculate and display results and are not maintained as a general member database.
  • Payment and Entitlement Data: When you purchase a paid service, we may process your checkout email address, payment identifier, payment time, purchased product, entitlement status, refund status, and purchase token or session data. Your email address may be stored in hashed form for entitlement recovery and access control.
  • Checkout Input Data: Depending on the payment method, your name, phone number, and email address may be sent to PortOne, Paddle, or the applicable payment provider. Sensitive payment credentials such as full card numbers, bank account numbers, or passwords are not stored on our servers.
  • Technical Data and Cookies: Browser type, access logs, IP address, device information, cookies, session data, and local storage settings may be processed for service operation, security, troubleshooting, and entitlement continuity.
  • Optional Integration Data: If you use Google login, your Google account email may be processed. If you use social sharing, the Kakao SDK may also operate.

2. Purposes of Processing

We use processed data only for the following purposes.

  • Service Delivery: Providing free Day Pillar analysis, paid deep reading, AI question features, result viewing, and export functionality
  • Payment Verification and Recovery: Confirming completed payments, activating paid features, and restoring entitlements based on the checkout email
  • Support and Refund Handling: Responding to payment questions, cancellation requests, duplicate charges, and disputes
  • Security and Abuse Prevention: Detecting unusual payments, unauthorized access, malicious requests, and misuse of the Service
  • Service Improvement: Anonymous analytics, performance optimization, and UI/UX improvements

3. Retention and Deletion

Analysis Input Data: Nicknames, birth dates, and similar data used for free analysis are not kept as permanent records and may disappear when you refresh, close, or leave the page.

Browser-Stored Data: Language settings and some progress data may be stored in local storage or cookies and can be deleted by you at any time.

Paid Entitlement Data: Access to paid services remains valid for 7 days from the purchase date. The hashed email, purchase token, session data, and purchase status needed to manage that entitlement are processed during that validity period or for the minimum time needed immediately after it.

Payment Records: Some records may be retained longer if reasonably required for refunds, dispute handling, legal obligations, or settlement requirements imposed by payment providers.

Analytics Data: Anonymous data handled by third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics follows those providers' retention policies.

4. Sharing and Processing by Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. However, third-party services may process data to the extent necessary for service delivery, payment handling, authentication, PDF generation, and legal compliance.

Such processing is limited to payment verification, login, PDF generation, analytics, refund handling, and security maintenance.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

We use the following external services.

  • PortOne and Korean payment providers: Payment processing for Korean checkout flows through integrations such as NHN KCP, KG Inicis, and Kakao Pay
  • Paddle: USD checkout for English-language or international payment flows
  • Google Analytics / Vercel Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics
  • Google OAuth: Optional login functionality
  • Kakao SDK: KakaoTalk sharing functionality

6. Security Measures

We use the following safeguards to protect user information.

  • HTTPS Encryption: Data in transit is protected with SSL/TLS.
  • Data Minimization: Free-analysis input data is not maintained as a permanent server-side record whenever reasonably possible.
  • Access Control: Paid entitlements are managed using session data and hashed email identifiers.

7. Your Rights

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete locally stored settings by clearing your browser data.

You may also contact us for entitlement recovery based on your checkout email, payment-related questions, or privacy questions. Some information may not be deleted immediately if it must be retained by payment providers or under applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not primarily directed to children. Users should use the Service only as permitted by applicable law and should avoid entering sensitive personal information unnecessarily.

9. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated as our features, payment methods, or legal requirements change. If material changes are made, we will post the updated policy on the website and revise the last updated date.
