Bigyeon (比肩, Friend Star) is the Ten God where both element and polarity match the Day Master. It symbolizes siblings, peers, and independence — strong-willed but potentially stubborn when excessive.
Bigyeon literally means 'shoulder to shoulder'. It appears when a character shares both the same element and the same Yin/Yang polarity as the Day Master. For example, if the Day Master is Jia (Yang Wood), another Jia in the chart is Bigyeon.
Strong Bigyeon energy creates independent, self-reliant, and competitive individuals. They maintain their positions under pressure and value peer relationships. However, excessive Bigyeon can manifest as stubbornness, refusal to compromise, or dispersal of wealth.
